The law firm was founded in 2001 by attorney Dr. Frank Kebekus and attorney Ralf Zimmermann. In November 2024, Mr. Zimmermann moved to the position as “Of Counsel”. At the same time, the attorneys Dr. Georg and Müller-Körber joined the law firm as partners, which has been continuing as KebekusPartner RECHTSANWÄLTE PartG mbB since then. The firm has its local focus in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. However, the insolvency proceedings handled by the firm are often nationwide in scope and frequently also cross-border. In particular, founding partner Dr. Kebekus is active in various functions in restructuring proceedings throughout Germany.

Founding partner Dr. Frank Kebekus is also one of the most distinctive attorneys in Germany in the field of restructuring and insolvency law.
The highest quality standards are complied with. The firm is certified under ISO 9001:2015, GOI- and InsO Excellence. InsO Excellence is the quality certificate of the Gravenbrucher Kreis, the association of leading active insolvency law firms in Germany, which is audited and awarded by DQS GmbH. In the last audit in October 2024, the law firm was able to meet the requirements in full again.
