The Düsseldorf Restructuring Court can present the first court-confirmed settlement of a non-public reorganization facilitation, which governs sections 94-100 StaRUG, on May 28, 2021. Dr. Kebekus was probably the first reorganization moderator according to StaRUG in these proceedings.

Air Berlin is insolvent. The local court Berlin-Charlottenburg has accepted an application for self-administration and has appointed Prof. Dr. Lucas Flöther as trustee. Düsseldorf-based attorney Dr. Frank Kebekus of Kebekus et Zimmermann in his capacity as chief representative is supposed to restructure the airline which has been unprofitable for years. Behind the scenes, this will probably be about an extensive take-over by Lufthansa.

With court order dated July 28, 2015 the local court of Arnsberg has appointed attorney Dr. Frank Kebekus as preliminary trustee in the preliminary insolvency proceedings over the assets of ALSO Logistics Services GmbH, Soest. On the very same day, the company had filed for insolvency in self-administration. The company has more than 450 employees and carries out the logistics for the publishing company Weltbild, mainly from the location in Augsburg.
